Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

This is a weekly feature hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee. The hosts also have a featured blog each week. The featured blog this week is Rabbit Ears Book Blog.

The question this week is: Pick three book characters: Kiss? Marry? Kill?

I'm going to get specific here and pick the three main boys from the Anna and the French Kiss series

St. Clair from Anna and the French Kiss
Cricket from Lola and the Boy Next Door
Josh from Isla and the Happily Ever After

Kiss: Josh
Marry: Cricket
Kill: St. Clair

While I love them all, there's no way I could ever kill Josh. I love the whole quiet and angsty artist thing he has going on. Cricket would be the ideal husband in my personal opinion. So therefore, that leaves St. Clair to kill. I love him as well, but I feel like the others are way more my type.

As usual, feel free to follow me on Bloglovin if you don't already.

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

This is a weekly feature hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee. Each of the hosts also have a featured blog each week. The featured blog this week is I Heart Reading.

The question this week is: Help us give our Feature Interview Questions a fresh look! What questions do you think we should ask our weekly features?

Here are some questions that I suggest for the hosts to use:

1. If you could choose one book to recommend to the readers, which would it be and why?

2. Top five favorite authors?

3. Who are some book bloggers that inspire you?

4. What literature tropes do you dislike and why? You can make it genre specific if you want or you can just do it in general.

5. What other topics would you blog about if you no longer wanted to blog about books?

Thanks for reading! You can follow me on Bloglovin.

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Feature Friday is a weekly feature that is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Each week, they have two featured blogs and the blogs for this week are Romance Dreamland Book Corner and My Random Book Thoughts.

The question for this week is:
Undiscovered talent - tell us about a book you loved but no one else seems to have heard of. It can be new or old, any genre. Let's spread the love.

65070

Ann M. Martin is most well known for her beloved The Babysitters Club series. However, it's this book that I believe deserves more credit than it has received. Yes, it also received the Newberry Award but still, I've never heard anyone talk about this book. I think it portrayed the world through the eyes of this narrator in such a beautiful way. I instantly clicked with this novel. I really can't recommend it enough!

You can follow me on Bloglovin if you'd like. I always follow back, but comment and let me know that you followed me if you want me to get back to you quickly!

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

Feature Friday is a weekly feature hosted by Alison Can Read & Parajunkee. The featured blog for this week is Newbie Librarians.

The question for this week is:

Name a movie you would have loved to read as a book (that is not a book already, obviously!)

I really enjoyed this question, it definitely made me think really hard about my answer!

Almost famous poster1.jpg

Almost Famous is my answer because it's one of my all time movies and I think it would have worked really well in book form also. In a way, it's probably the more creative route that this was made into a movie instead of a book, considering the fact that Cameron Crowe is a writer so most people would probably expect for him to write a memoir about his experiences. However, I would still have loved to read that book for sure!

My following preference is on Bloglovin so I would be thrilled if you would follow me, I follow back! If I don't, let me know in the comments so I can make sure to check out your blog.

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

This is a weekly feature that happens every Friday. It's my first time participating and I'm excited to be apart of it! The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs! The featured blogs this week are: Books Are Life and One Book Two.

The question to answer for this week is: Share a random quote from a book that you are currently reading.

I'm currently reading Pride & Prejudice for the first time so I picked a popular quote that I thought was pretty awesome:

1885

“I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book! -- When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.”

Follow me: If you follow me on Bloglovin, I will definitely follow you back. Feel free to leave me a comment and let me know so I can make sure to check your blog out. I'm still a pretty new blogger so I love to make new blogger friends! :)
